Fountaine-Pajot was established in 1976 and is one of the largest builders of cruising catamarans in the world (building 40ft-67ft catamarans). Their shipyard is close to the famous sailing port of La Rochelle in France, where all boats are constructed to the Det Norske Veritas Certification ISO 9001 and 9002 – a very exacting quality control system.

Our own Fountaine-Pajot catamaran sales team has an in-depth knowledge of each model; we visit the factory regularly and have sold these fantastic catamarans since 2006.

The Fountaine-Pajot in-house design team works closely with internationally renowned naval architects, such as Joubert/Nivelt and Berret/Racoupeau, to produce power and sailing cruising catamarans that are not only sleek and purposeful but incorporate quality, dependability, safety, performance, and comfort in equal measure.

These catamarans are great value and brimming with innovative features: Light and airy interiors with great headroom; an extended coach roof that protects the saloon from the heat and glare of the sun; solid section bimini’s giving walkway access under the entire length of the boom; high bridge deck clearance, eliminating the pounding in a seaway experienced on some cats; clear side decks (no shrouds in the way) for easy access forward; optimized hull shapes and careful volume distribution, making the boats fast and sea-worthy.

The range of sailing catamarans has been designed with remarkable living space and superb levels of comfort and performance so you can share all the pleasures of a premium cruising lifestyle.

We currently have the Lipari 41, Helia 44 and Helia 44 Maestro, the Saba 50 and the new 2019 Astrea 42 models available for charter in the Caribbean.
