Moby 2 is a well-maintained 2011 Jeanneau 53 that offers an excellent balance of performance, comfort, and ease of handling. Designed by Philippe Briand with stylish interiors by Vittorio Garroni, she is a proven bluewater cruiser well suited for extended sailing or liveaboard use.
She is equipped with a custom dinghy davit system and a solar array, making her ideal for independent cruising and extended time at anchor with reduced reliance on the generator.
Moby 2 features twin helms with full navigation electronics, electric winches for easy sail handling, a bow thruster for maneuverability, and a spacious cockpit with a fold-down swim platform. She is also fitted with a generator and air conditioning for onboard comfort in all conditions. The three-cabin, three-head layout provides excellent accommodation for owners and guests.
Below deck, the interior is bright and spacious with a large saloon offering plenty of natural light. The forward owner’s cabin includes an ensuite head and separate shower, while two aft guest cabins provide comfortable accommodations. The galley is fully equipped with ample storage, refrigeration, and workspace.
Powered by a Yanmar 110 HP diesel engine, Moby 2 cruises comfortably at approximately 8 to 9 knots. She has a length overall of 53 feet 6 inches, a beam of 15 feet 8 inches, and a draft of approximately 7 feet 6 inches. Fuel capacity is approximately 63 gallons and water capacity is approximately 250 gallons.
